Trip of a lifetime! Fabulous guide and bus driver. Friendly group more like family. Beautiful, peaceful, sobering, emotional and humbling sites to visit and we even saw sites that were not include in our itinerary Certainly a memorable trip for me. Thank You

I loved every minute of it. Everything was carefully planned with no time wasted. Accommodations were excellent. We never had to wait at museums, restaurants or for tours. Most importantly our guide, Glenn, made the trip special. He has vast knowledge of the history and the people of both World Wars, and made the events come alive with excellent story telling. Without his input, these would just be sites, but he made them come alive. No question was beyond him or too trivial. He always answered kindly and calmly. Finally, we had an amazing bus driver, Phillipe. He is highly skilled at driving in challenging situations, did his best to find the best stops, and participated in our meals. He definitely was a big part of our group. The trip was 5/5.

Very well conducted. Both the guide Glen, and the bus driver Phillip, worked very well together. The only negative issue was the three night stay at the hotel at St Aubin. The rooms were very small. No elevator so some people had issues with the narrow spiral staircase, especially hauling their luggage. And they only offered a cold continental breakfast.

As was the 70th Anniversary of the Liberation of Holland tour in 2015 that I was on, this 80th Anniversary tour was also equally memorable, informative and interesting thanks to the expert guidance of our tour guide, Glenn. He showed such care that all were comfortable and well-informed about events and was so approachable. And thanks also to the great planning and input by Ian and Melody, we were able to pay our respects to our Canadian and allied troops at the 3 Canadian War Cemeteries, learn about their contributions during WW2 at a number of museums and join with local thankful Dutch citizens cheering on Canadian veterans at a jubilant parade at Wageningen. As well, visiting famous sites including the Royal Palace of Het Loo, Keukenhof Gardens and the UNESCO World Heritage Site, Kinderdijk Wndmills were highlights of the tour. Fellow guide, Sjoerd, plus the bus drivers also deserve a big thank you. Staying at the same hotel, the Van der Valk in Arnhem, for the entire trip rather than going from hotel to hotel was a bonus. Comfortable rooms with many amenities plus the extensive delicious food choices at the breakfast buffet and the evening dinners were highlights of the hotel. Finally, it was such a pleasure to get to know fellow travellers coming from one coast of Canada to the other and share the unforgettable experiences we had with them. Ruth Pearson & Diane Kilby
